“Colorful Wangjing,” a sculptural LED installation designed by the Sculpture Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, has been unveiled. Positioned at the intersection of Wangjing West Road and Futong West Street in Beijing, the piece resembles a traditional Chinese jade disc—a symbol of harmony and good fortune—and has become a new fashion landmark in Wangjing. Our team affectionately calls it the “Donut.” Built with an outdoor P6 specification, it features 9 custom-designed display modules across 126 square meters of screen area.
By day, the installation is minimalist and refined. Its polished stainless steel frame mirrors the sky, clouds, and surrounding skyline—clean, textured, and effortlessly photogenic. As night falls, the LED ring comes alive. Colors shift and flow in a continuous, mesmerizing display, casting a gentle yet brilliant glow that illuminates the Wangjing skyline.
Traffic glides through the streets while the evening breeze sweeps across the plaza—a perfect blend of urban energy and relaxed charm. This is Wangjing in a nutshell: capturing Beijing’s modern spirit and the warmth of city life. One glance at the vibrant display, and the whole city feels alive. This is Wangjing’s unique romance—Beijing’s newest enchanting nighttime destination.
