Installed at Chukyo Racecourse in Japan, this project features an outdoor P5 LED display shaped like a galloping horse. Positioned as a landmark art installation at the venue entrance, it seamlessly merges horse racing heritage with contemporary light and digital technology — creating a standout visual destination for visitors.
Rated IP65 for waterproof and dustproof performance, the display modules undergo a three-layer protective coating to withstand outdoor conditions — from intense sunlight and heavy rain to extreme temperature fluctuations — ensuring reliable, uninterrupted operation. The modular design allows for quick on-site installation and straightforward maintenance, with individual panel replacement to minimize downtime and long-term service costs. The intuitive control system supports scheduled playback and rapid video switching, with content that can be easily updated to match the racing calendar.
During race days, the display amplifies the excitement of the event with live atmosphere and real-time information, while on non-race days it continues to celebrate the rich heritage of horse racing — elevating the venue’s artistic appeal year-round. Beyond standard advertising displays, this horse-shaped LED installation delivers three values in one: information delivery, artistic landmark, and social media-worthy spectacle. It bridges commercial promotion and cultural storytelling, establishing Chukyo Racecourse with a distinctive outdoor visual identity.
