Super Visual, a Shenzhen-based manufacturer specializing in custom-shaped and artistic LED display solutions, has unveiled its latest innovation: the 3-Meter LED Vase Display — a dual-mode piece that integrates the company's exclusive POB technology with traditional Chinese design elements, functioning as both a decorative art piece and a high-resolution LED screen.
When inactive, the display presents as an elegant Chinese red vase — a cultural symbol of prosperity and good fortune. Upon activation, the surface transforms into a vivid LED screen, with imagery that appears to float seamlessly across the vase's curved silhouette. This transition is enabled by Super Visual's proprietary POB technology, which embeds LED components directly into the physical surface, eliminating visible hardware when the screen is off.
This is one of my most admired works. We have combined traditional craftsmanship and modern display technology into a single piece. The POB content and the displayed content are merged into one — faintly visible, a mix of real and digital. The result is something truly unique.
A Painting Brought to Life
The debut design features a classic Chinese painting motif: plum blossoms in full bloom with a magpie perched on a branch, symbolizing joy and good luck. When illuminated, the golden branches and delicate flowers are rendered in radiant color with subtle animation.
At 3 meters in height, the display serves as both a functional LED screen and a statement art installation.
